  A key aim of St Michael's is to provide you with the skills to live as independently as possible. We have a range of accommodation options to suit your needs, from independent living units to shared accommodation.
  
  St Michael's offers a wide range of accommodation options suitable for you, no matter your age and abilities. St Michael's has been providing high-quality accommodation in Tasmania for the more than 52 years.
  
  St Michael's has an extensive program of social and community activities for you to choose from. One of our core beliefs is that independence is strengthened by building relationships and social skills.
  
  We offer short-term respite services to suit all your needs. St Michael's offers you accommodation and integrated services in a comfortable and fun environment at our Lyne House complex.

AGFEST 2025- Respite Weekend and Day Trips

St Michael’s Association is open for Agfest bookings!

Agfest is Tasmania’s premier agricultural event, run from May 1st to 3rd at Quercus Park, Carrick. Organised by the dedicated volunteers of Rural Youth Tasmania, Agfest showcases over 600 exhibitors, offering a comprehensive experience of agricultural innovations, machinery, and local produce. Gates are open daily from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Our Agfest Respite Package offers:

Weekend accommodation in our modern Lyne House facility, NEWSTEAD.
Day trips via bus to Agfest site (approx 15mins north).
Active support across the day/weekend.
Additional activities as part of our weekend programs.

Early expressions will determine the Agfest day trip and weekend agendas, so please register your interest as limited numbers are available. We welcome new or existing St Michael’s participants to join a day trip- just get in touch!
