A key aim of St Michael’s is to provide you with the skills to live as independently as possible.
We have a range of Day Programs (Community or Centre-Based) to give you a choice of daily living skills to improve your quality of life.
Also our accommodation options are flexible to suit your needs, from Respite, Short-Term, Support/Shared Accommodation through to Independent Living Units (which may be supported through your Core Supports in your NDIS plan).

Through our range of accommodation and Day Programs, we offer services to assist you with personal tasks such as:

What is it?
Getting out and about in the local community is an essential part of an independent life. If you’re unable to use public transport and need assistance, you may have some funding for this in your NDIS plan.
How can St Michael’s assist?
St Michael’s can organise your transport for you, either by taxi or minibus.

What is it?
This includes training and developing skills for independence and community participation. The NDIS offers these services in groups or individually.
How can St Michaels assist?
A big part of life at St Michaels is encouraging fun social activities. These build confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging to the wider community.
Some programs provide you with practical skills, while others give you the opportunity to explore your creativity.

A service for those who need extra support with social and behavioural issues. These may be complex needs that require long-term or intensive support. The aim is to empower you to improve your social relationships over time.
How can St Michael’s assist?
We can tailor your support to your individual needs. Some services we offer include:
- Individual support
- Assistance with communication skills
- Group activities
- Community activities

What is it?
Your health and wellbeing are important to your quality of life. This category assists you to choose activities and manage your exercise, relaxation and diet.
How can St Michael’s assist?
Many of our health and wellbeing activities are group activities. Not only will you feel fitter and healthier, but you will also form long-lasting relationships and improve your social networks.
We offer you many opportunities for exercise and wellbeing. Here’s a selection:
- Gym activities
- Swimming
- Structured sport
- Self-defence
- Walking in the community
- Sensory room
- Relaxation program
- Cooking and nutrition
